These
are the types of balloons that you can order from us.
NOTE:
Those balloons made from foil (Mylar) can be kept forever. Once
they no longer float the remaining helium can be removed and the
balloon folded up for posterity.
Latex
balloons are made from a natural material and are bio degradable.
After a while they will start to breakdown.

Standard
Message Balloon
These balloons
will arrive in a plain white box lined with tissue paper with
the additional gift you ordered.
Inside we
will place your own personal message.
All balloons
are tied to a weight or the additional gift.

This is the
standard balloon which is normally 18" in diameter (if the
balloon is smaller than this, it states this next to the balloon
image).
The shape
of the balloon is generally round, though we also sell heart and
star shaped balloons as well.
It is made
of a metallic foil, often known as Mylar and is filled with Helium
gas which makes it float.
Generally
this type of balloon will stay afloat for about 7 -10 days. After
a few days the balloon will start to show signs of deflation,
but will still float. The exact floating time depends on a number
of environmental factors mainly air temperature. The warmer the
air temperature, the greater the loss of helium, thus the balloon
does not float for so long.

Shape

These
balloons will arrive in a large plain brown box - the size of
which is approx. 600mm long, 400mm wide and 600mm high.
Inside we will place your own personal message.
The
balloon will be tied to a weight or the additional gift.

come in a variety of sizes and shapes. A number of the balloons
are based around cartoon characters from films or TV programmes.
They make
great gifts for children and adults.
The size of
each balloon is shown beneath the relevant image of the balloon.
With this
type of balloon it is difficult to give a precise floating time
because this is is dependent upon the shape and size of the balloon.
Generally the bigger the balloon the longer the floating time.
They will
float longer than the 18" balloons, normally between 18-30
days. After a few days the balloon will start to show signs of
deflation, but will still float. The exact floating time depends
on a number of environmental factors mainly air temperature. The
warmer the air temperature, the greater the loss of helium, thus
the balloon does not float for so long.

Walker
These
balloons will arrive in a large plain box - the size of which

appear to walk across the floor or they can be made to float mid
air. This is achieved by adding/removing small weights (normally
paperclips) to the feet of the Air Walker.
They make
great gifts for children and adults and are always a talking point.

Stuffed
Balloons
This
balloon will arrive in a box with the balloon covered with tissue
paper.
Inside
we will place your own personal message.
In
addition we will provide instructions on how to remove the soft
toy from the balloon.

This is the
balloon equivalent of a Ship In A Bottle.
Inside the
clear balloon there is shredded tissue paper which is placed in
the bottom. The soft toy is then suspended so that it just sits
on the tissue paper.
The top of
the balloon is finished with a bow and curled ribbon.
The balloon
will stay inflated for many many weeks. After a while the outside
face of the balloon will begin to oxidise; this is a natural process
caused by oxygen in the atmosphere reacting with the natural products
in the balloon.
This type
of balloon is made from latex which is a rubber type material.
It is filled with air not helium so it will not float.
